This isn’t the first time we heard about this “complete redesign” rumor for the iPhone 14 lineup. Reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo already said that Apple will drop the notch in 2022. Instead of the notch, the company will use a punch-hole design, most Android phones currently using it.
In addition, Jon Prosser, a well-known YouTuber/leaker, also claimed that he has already seen real-life images of the notch-free iPhone 14 Pro Max.
As per the previous rumors, Apple is planning to ditch the iPhone Mini model to focus on iPhone 14 Max, it will make a regular iPhone, two Pro iPhones, and a Max model in the iPhone 14 series.
About the under-display Touch ID, Kuo said the company is working on this technology but is not sure to finish it for the iPhone 14 lineup. Kuo recently said that this tech is most likely to in 2023 iPhone, while in 2024 Apple will finally bring a foldable device.
