Today, Apple has launched the iPhone 15 as well as the iPhone 15 Plus models with top-of-the-line specifications, and it’s time to take a look at the specifications and price of these new members of the Apple smartphone family.
Apple iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus – Specifications
Both standard and Plus variants use the same display specs as of the previous models – 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch respectively, with a 60Hz refresh rate. Besides, it has peak brightness which reaches up to 1600 nits from 1200 nits figure. Further, these handsets feature a frosted rear glass panel with a matte finish and counter edges.
These devices install the A16 Bionic chipset and a second-generation Ultra Wideband processor with up to three times the range. In terms of appearance, users will see the new lineup in Pink, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Black with ceramic coating at the edges.
Moving ahead, iPhone 15 and 15 Plus packs an upgraded 48-MP main camera along with a new 2X telephoto lens. At the front, the models have a 12MP selfie cam. These devices also ditched the lightning connector and adopted the USB-C port as well as Dynamic Island capability.
For battery, Apple says that the iPhone 15 comes with an all-day battery life, while the iPhone 15 Plus offers more.
Price and Availability
Apple iPhone 15 and 15 Plus are available to order starting September 15 and will launch on September 22 in more than 40 countries and regions around the world. Price starts at $799 for the Apple iPhone 15 and at $899 for the iPhone 15 Plus in the U.S., with the devices available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage capacities.
At the same time, the company said that it will expand the availability of iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus to Macao, Malaysia, Türkiye, Vietnam, and 17 other countries and regions beginning September 29.
