Apple launched iPhone 15 series with Dynamic Island, USB-C Port, new colors, and more

The wait is over! Apple launched the all-new iPhone 15 series with some amazing features and characteristics.  All four models landed on the stage with prominent and effective changes that made them stand at the top position in the smartphone market.

So without any delays, let’s check what’s new with the newly launched Apple iPhone 15 series!

Starting with the standard models, Apple iPhone 15 and 15 Plus devices promise optimized performance. These models further feature Dynamic Island and a range of exciting color schemes on board that can easily drag your attention toward them.

This time, the company has ditched the outdated Lightning Connector with the ultimate USB-C port. Similar to the previous lineup, the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus sports a 6.1 and 6.7-inch display. However, the changes appear in the brightness rate that can extend up to 2000 nits.

In terms of appearance, Apple has used impressive and colorful finishes throughout the glass. Meanwhile, the base version is available in pink, yellow, green, blue, and black.

Camera

The tech giant has revamped the camera system. The iPhone 15 supports a 48-megapixel main sensor, which enables 1x and 2x optical zoom modes. Alongside this, the rear face bears a usual 0.5x ultra-wide lens.

These devices pack the A16 Bionic chipset to boost the performance efficiency. Note that the respective processors house a six-core CPU and a five-core GPU. Other features include a second-gen Ultra Wideband chip, and Precision Finding capability. At the same time, Apple extends the Emergency SOS feature, free for two years with an iPhone 15 purchase.

Apple iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max

The other two models that have been the spotlight of the Wonderlust event are – iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The handsets hold the latest A17 Pro Bionic chipset which is Apple’s first 3nm chip. On the flip side, the iPhone 15 Pro flaunts the rumored Action button which can perform certain tasks such as launching the camera, invoking shortcuts, and more.

At the same time, the company has implemented the most powerful optical framework for the Pro models. Apple says it has the equivalent of seven camera lenses. Besides, a new nano-coating reduces lens flare.

The 48MP sensor has ultimately improved low-light performance and supports HEIF. 24, 28, and 35mm shots supported by the main camera. iPhone 15 Pro gains next-gen Portrait with 2x low light performance and focus control.

Speaking of the telephoto lens, the iPhone 15 Pro Max features 5x optical zoom at 120mm focal length, which is called a tetra prism design. Optical image stabilization is enhanced with movement in three directions. An ultra-wide sensor shoots macro and 13mm shots, rounding out the seven focal lengths.

For Vision Pro, iPhone 15 Pro also captures “spatial video” now. It uses the ultra-wide and main camera to create 3D videos. The feature will be available sometime after launch.
