Samsung had rolled out a software update to fix the camera issues for the Exynos and Snapdragon variants of the Galaxy S20 series. Unluckily, it seems like the Exynos Galaxy S20 Ultra is still facing the autofocus issue.
Several Exynos Galaxy S20 Ultra users on the Samsung community forums are complaining about overheating (when playing games or using the camera app) and autofocus issues. Some of them have also reported disappointing battery life.

Additionally, a Twitter user posted a video, which shows the Exynos Galaxy S20 Ultra struggling to focus on an object. It fails to achieve a focus lock. You can check in the posted video below.

In addition to the autofocus issue, the user also has “poor battery life”, “poor performance”, and overheats.
It is a big disappointment for a buyer who spent $1400 for a smartphone, the company is not able to fix the issue after rolling out multiple software updates with camera improvements. For this, Samsung is likely to roll out a new software update to fix these issues in the coming weeks.
