Google is already working on the Pixel 8 series which includes a classic and a Pro variant. However, we are already hearing the bell rings of a new phone member. Yes! The latest reports say that Google Pixel 8a has appeared on the Geekbench with fascinating features.
Accordingly, the tech giant has taken another handset – Google Pixel 8a on a ride through Geekbench to get a performance test. Although this tour has revealed some of the dynamic functionalities that the phone will bring on board.
As per the listing, Pixel 8a codenamed Akita could be powered by an underclocked version of the Tensor G3 processor alongside Mali-G715 GPU. Besides, it will run on 8GB RAM and pre-install Android 14. In terms of performance, the device has scored 1218 points in single-core and 3175 points in multi-core tests.
Concerning the launch timeline, Pixel 8a will arrive in June 2023 at the Google I/O event, just like other ‘a-tagged’ models. Hence, we may find changes in these details. It would be better to take these inputs with a grain of salt for the moment.
