Huawei could launch new version of Nova 7 SE with Kirin 820E processor

Back in 2020, Huawei launched the Nova 7 series and also released a Special Edition called Huawei Nova 7 SE. The smartphone was launched with a MediaTek processor instead of a Kirin 820 5G chipset.

According to the latest information (Via – Huawei Central), coming from tipster DigitalChatStation, Huawei is soon expected to release a Lohas Edition of Huawei Nova 7 SE. The design of the smartphone is much likely to remain the same as the previous model despite the new logo design on the rear and it will equip the latest kirin 820E chipset.

As per the information, the Huawei Nova Lohas Edition will come with a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a punch-hole design where there will 16MP camera for selfies. It will pack a battery of 4000mAh with support for fast charging.

On the rear, it will come with a Quad camera setup with a 64MP main camera, 8MP wide-angle camera, 2MP depth camera, and a 2MP macro lens. In terms of software, the smartphone will come with pre-installed EMUI 10.1.1.

Talking about the chipset, the Kirin 820 processor is made on a 7nm process technology that comes with the support for 5G connectivity. For gaming, the processor has a Mali-G57 GPU, Kirin Gaming+ 2.0, and DaVinci NPU cores for better AI processing.

Although there is currently no information available for the Kirin 820E SoC that will power the upcoming Huawei Nova 7 SE but is assumed that this chip will be a downgraded version of Kirin 820.
