Huawei has just unveiled its yet another Nova series mid-ranger, the Huawei Nova 8i. This handset offers a lot at a decent price range and who wouldn’t like its sleek, bezel-less design. Moreover, it is equipped with several premium features such as a 66W fast charging, Ai powered quad rear camera, and more.
Most importantly, it is powered by a Snapdragon processor instead of Huawei’s self-owned Kirin. This also becomes the first Huawei phone which is available globally. Below you can get more info about this newly released handset.

Design
Design-wise, the Nova 8i has a premium glass back with not exactly but somewhat Mate 40 like rounded camera setup in the middle, while they kept the LED flash outside the camera module. The front setup is the one for which you would want this phone, it has very (believe me a very) thin bezels around the corners that make it fully comparable to a flagship phone. While there are two pill-shaped front cameras.
Display
As I have already mentioned, the display of the device is something that you should get it for and how we should get on with some numbers. Starting with the display size, the phone has a 6.67-inch HUAWEI Edgeless Display with FullHD+ resolution. Its screen-to-body ratio is 94.7 percent which makes the display look more premium, though the handset misses out on a high-quality AMOLED or an OLED display still it looks mesmerizing.
Battery and Fast Charging
Apart from its appealing design, the smartphone also packs some front-end qualities in terms of features. With its 66W SuperCharge, you can charge its 4300mAh battery in just 38 minutes and that’s so fast quick, even the 60% is up in 17 minutes. So, you are fed up with your current phone’s battery and slow charging speed then it’s time to move on.
Camera
The camera system is also a matter of concern for the users nowadays with increasing mobile photography. For your best shot at every moment, the Nova 8i is equipped with a 64MP high-resolution camera with an f/1.9 aperture. Further, it has 8MP ultra-wide shots, a 2MP depth-sensing camera, and another 2MP for macro shots. For our beloved selfies, the front has a 16MP lens.
Software and Processor
In software terms, Nova 8i features the latest EMUI 11 that carries a bunch of features and a pleasing user interface. It includes features such as Huawei Share, new Huawei Notes, and much more. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 662 processor instead of its usual Kirin chipset. Further, it is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal memory.
Price and Availability
After reading the plenty of impressive features you might be thinking to get one. Though the availability is another concern and its currently limited to Malaysian markets. The Nova 8i will soon be available in more global markets in the coming days. In Malaysia, it is priced at RM1299. The pre-orders have already begun and will end on July 21, so hurry up and pre-book directly from the link here.
