Apple iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models landed on the surface with an interesting Action Button which will soon support a new Translate app. The customizable tab is the replacement of an outdated mute switch and is capable of performing certain tasks without any delays.
The latest inputs reveal that the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Action button will gain support for the Translate app later this year. Eventually, the new addition will enable users to quickly translate languages without the urge to open the application.
It is worth mentioning that a small note on the official Apple website reads that the translate option will not be available for the Action button until later this year. Thus, we can expect that future iOS 17 updates will bring the respective capability on board.
Some of the other operations that the iPhone 15 Pro Action button can perform easily are:
- Switching to Ring or Silent mode
- Opening Focus Mode
- Using Camera
- Turning on or off the flashlight
- Voice Memos
- Magnifier
- Using Shortcuts
- Accessibility
