Samsung today opened the next chapter in foldable innovation with two new smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G. The new Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 come with notable upgrades over their predecessors.
Samsung launches its latest foldable smartphones. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 comes with the S Pen support and a new Under Display Camera for a more immersive experience. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a larger outer display for notifications, music control, selfies, and more. Both the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 will be available for purchase on August 27 for $999 and $1799, respectively.

For the first time ever on a foldable smartphone, the Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 are equipped with IPX8 water resistance, so users no longer have to worry when caught in the rain. Both devices are also built with our new Armor Aluminum—the strongest aluminum ever used on a Galaxy smartphone—along with the toughest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus to protect against scratches and accidental drops. In addition, both devices include a new protective film made of stretchable PET and optimized display panel layers resulting in the Main Screen that’s 80% more durable than previous devices.

If you want the ultimate device for productivity and immersive entertainment, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is a true multitasking powerhouse with next-level performance. It has an undisrupted 7.6-inch Infinity Flex Display and the first-ever S Pen support on a foldable device. The main display also has the company’s first Under Display Camera on a smartphone. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 looks a lot like its predecessor, but it has the addition of water resistance with an IPX8 rating. The Fold 3 supports the Gorilla Glass Victus, while Gorilla Glass DX covers the 12MP triple camera lens on the rear for clearer images.

If you want a style, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is the ideal device with its sleek, compact, and pocketable design, enhanced camera features, and a larger Cover Screen built for quick use on the go.
The inner AMOLED display of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is largely the same as its predecessor at 6.7-inches, but with the 120Hz refresh rate. It paired with the new Dolby Atmos stereo speakers. The Cover Display is now 1.9-inches larger.
S PEN:
For the first time ever on the Galaxy Z series, Samsung is bringing its beloved Note series technology to Z Fold 3—the S Pen functionality. Users can take advantage of fully optimized S Pen features on their foldable screen, which is a perfect fit for on-the-go multitaskers. On Z Fold 3’s massive Main Screen, it’s easier than ever for users to jot down notes during a video call or check off a to-do list while reading emails, and Z Fold 3 users can also power their creativity and productivity with our fan-favorite S Pen.
S Pen for Z Fold 3 comes in two options: S Pen Fold Edition and S Pen Pro. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 will be available on August 27 but you can preorder them now. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 starts at $1799 for 12GB/256GB. It is available in Phantom Black, Phantom Silver, and Phantom Green.
The Galaxy Z Flip 3 is starting at $999 for the 8GB/128GB variant. It’s available in cream, lavender, green, and Phantom Black. Samsung is also offering exclusive colors, including gray, white, and pink.
Users that pre-order Z Fold 3 or Z Flip 3 will get a year of Samsung Care+ protection, premium support service. Users’ phones will be covered from accidental damage, including screen replacement, water damage, and back cover replacement.
