Samsung recently extended its contract with Qualcomm, which means that Galaxy devices will continue to use Snapdragon processors for more years. While a new report shows that Samsung has got an exclusive discount offer from another chip manufacturer MediaTek to use its chipsets in Galaxy devices more and more.
Going toward the details, a tipster on X/Twitter hinted that MediaTek has offered a special pricing discount to Samsung to boost the usage of chipsets in its devices. But these MediaTek Dimenesoty processors are expected to be used in affordable Galaxy phones, as Snapdragon is already booked for flagships.
However, the war between manufacturers goes on and on, therefore, here it will be good to see whether Samsung accepts the proposal of MediaTek or refuses to power its more and more Galaxy devices with the Dimensity SoC.
