Motorola One 5G Ace launched with Snapdragon 750G SoC, 48MP camera, and more

With the start of the new year, 2021, there are a bunch of 5G smartphones that are in the queue to be launched in the coming days from several phone makers. These smartphones comprise both the mid-range and the flagship segments.

Motorola also has several new smartphones that will be unveiled this year. The US phone maker has recently launched its first 5G smartphone of the year called Motorola One 5G Ace. This phone is only launched in North America and it is said to be the most affordable 5G smartphone from the company with a price tag of $399.

Coming to the specs of the phone it comes with a massive display of a 6.7-inch LCD panel with an FHD+ resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The display type is a punch hole with a 16MP camera for selfies.

It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G SoC that is 5G capable and is built on an 8nm process. For faster 5G connectivity the chip features an X52 modem for sub-6Ghz 5G connectivity. Along with this, the device features 4/6GB RAM options with storage capacities of 64GB and 128GB for storing your data.

The device runs on the Android 10 operating system with Motorola’s My UX custom skin. It packs a 5000mAh battery that can support a 15W fast charging while you will get a 10W charger in the box.

Talking about the camera specs, the smartphone equips a triple rear camera setup in a square-shaped housing. The camera comprises a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor along with an LED flash. For security, the smartphone comes with a fingerprint sensor on the back. For protection against dust and water, the device is rated with IP52 ratings.

The Motorola One 5G comes in a single color option which is silver and it will be available for sale from January 14 in the US starting with a price tag of $399. Although the cost will vary depending upon the storage option.
