For comparison, last year’s Pixel 5 started at $699, so this year’s model is $100 cheaper, which is fairly rare, as Google rarely prices the latter products.
Besides, a few days ago, the European pricing of the Pixel 6 was also leaked. The basic version of Google Pixel 6 (8GB/128GB) is priced at 650 euros (approximately 4849 yuan), and the price of the 256GB version is still unknown.
According to Roland Quandt, a well-known trail source, the basic version of the Pixel 6 Pro is priced at 849 pounds (about 7505 yuan), while the 256GB version costs 949 pounds (about 8389 yuan).
Now going by the previous reports, the Google Pixel 6 will use a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display with a central punching design. It is not known whether the display will support the higher refresh rate.
The new device uses three rear cameras, such as the main camera, a periscope telephoto camera, and an unidentified camera with LED flash. The phone has a 12MP selfie camera on the front.
As per the information, the new Pixel series will get five years of software support: four major Android version updates and one year of extended security patches.
Other features include dual stereo speakers, wireless charging, a 4,614mAh battery, IP68 dust and water resistance, and an under-screen fingerprint.
Notably, the new phone will be the first smartphone equipped with Google’s self-developed Tensor chip. Anyways, the Pixel 6 series will be officially launched on October 19.
