New Xiaomi device passes BIS certification, could be POCO M6 Pro 5G

A new Xiaomi device has recently obtained the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification. Meanwhile, tech experts speculate that this device might be the highly anticipated POCO M6 Pro 5G. As the POCO India head announces the end of the 5 series era, paving the way for the 6 lineup smartphones.

POCO M6 Pro 5G has now started making waves in the tech industry, with rumors suggesting that it could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12R. If these speculations turn out to be true, it would mean that the POCO M6 Pro 5G might be hitting the Indian market in the coming months.

The upcoming POCO device has passed the BIS certification with model number 23076PC4BI. Other than this, we don’t have any information regarding the spotted model. But it could be said that this device is going to be a game changer with its significant features and capabilities.

Previous leaks also claimed that the Chinese version of the Redmi Note 12R will be launched as the Poco M6 Pro in the Indian market. Additionally, the same device is reported to come as the Redmi 12 5G smartphone in the global markets.

On June 30, Redmi Note 12R was launched in China for a starting price of Rs 11,400. This phone features a 6.79-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, paired with up to 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.
