Next member of Xiaomi Mi 10 lineup may be powered by Snapdragon 870

Qualcomm officially unveiled the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G mobile platform this week that uses an enhanced Qualcomm Kryo 585 CPU core. The super core frequency has reached 3.2GHz that is the highest frequency under the current A77 public version architecture.

According to the well-known tipster, Xiaomi is currently working on a new smartphone of the Mi 10 series, which could be powered by the latest Snapdragon 870.

As per the report, Xiaomi is currently testing prototype variants running on the new chipset. For those who do not know, the Snapdragon 870 was first announced in association with the Motorola Edge S.

Recently, the Redmi K40 series has rumored to comes with Snapdragon 870 but it is just a leak, not official information, so we would have to wait for the company’s official announcement.

Currently, many other companies are expected to use the new chip to release their devices, including brands such as Oppo, OnePlus, IQOO, and more.
