Samsung has already launched its latest Galaxy S series devices that are the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra. These premium smartphones coupled with incredible hardware and software capabilities such as Snapdragon 888/Exynos 2100 chipsets, Android 11-based One UI 3.1, Wi-Fi 6E, S Pen support for the top variant, and much more.

Following its tradition, the South Korean tech giant may launch the successor of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 around the third quarter of this year. However, the company has not announced the Galaxy Z Flip 2/3 alongside the Galaxy S21 series at the Galaxy Unpacked 2021. It indicates, the company may have plans to unveil at least two foldable phones in the coming future.

According to SamMobile, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold device will have the model number SM-F926. The company will ship this foldable smartphone with at least 256GB of internal storage. Apart from this, it will come pre-packed with Android 11-based One UI 3.5. [Check One UI 4.0 device list here]

On the other hand, the next clamshell foldable device Galaxy Flip will bear a model number SM-F711. The Galaxy Z Flip 2/3 will have 128/256GB of internal storage variants with Android 11-based One UI 3.5. As we know, Samsung introduced the One UI 2.5 along with the Galaxy Note 20 flagships in the second half of 2020, so we can expect the One UI 3.5 will also be unveiled at the same period this year.

Meanwhile, previous reports suggest that the Korean tech firm is going to discontinue the Galaxy Note lineup to put foldables into its mainstream. But at the launch event of the Galaxy S20 FE, Samsung announced that it will launch new Fan Edition smartphones every year. Following this statement, it is expected that the Galaxy Note 20 FE may be the last Note series phone.

Still, Samsung has not yet exposed its plan for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 2/3, or the Galaxy Note 20 FE. Whenever any new information arrives, we’ll keep you posted.
