Official teaser of Motorola Edge S confirms imminent launch
Motorola is in full preparation to launch its new flagship smartphone named Motorola Edge S and the company has now officially teased the phone. Previously the smartphone was also leaked by the General Manager of Lenovo China, which suggests that the smartphone will come with a Snapdragon processor of the 800 series but the name of the phone was not known at that time.
According to the latest news, the company has now released another teaser of the device, and this time it is confirmed that the new phone is Motorola Edge S and it will serve as a successor for the previously launched Motorola Edge.
The official post does not reveal much about the details of the device but we already have several leaks that suggest some expected features of the smartphone. It is said that the Motorola Edge S will be the rebranded version of the upcoming Moto G device which is already in the news as Motorola Nio.

If this is true then the device will sport an FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels and will have a dual punch hole camera set up in the front. and as the Geekbench listing reveals, the device will come with the unannounced Snapdragon chipset from the 800 series.
As per the other leaked details of the Motorola Nio, the smartphone equips a 64MP main camera along with a 16MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP camera for depth sensing. Inside the dual punch hole camera at the front, there will be a 16MP primary lens and an 8MP camera for ultra-wide shots.
In terms of software, the phone comes with the latest Android 11 operating system and carries two different RAM options as 8GB and 12GB while it also offers 256GB of storage. Although we recommend you to take this information with the pinch of salt as there is no official confirmation about the specs of the device.
