Official: Xiaomi 13 Ultra with Leica branding coming this month

After witnessing several leaks and rumors, we have now got our hands on the official information of Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The company has recently released a teaser for the upcoming device, which gives us a hint at the launch timeline and camera system of the phone.

The official promo poster of Xiaomi 13 Ultra, shows that the device will be equipped with Leica branding and it’s coming later this month. It’s worth mentioning that, the details revealed in the teaser are just the same as we have witnessed in the previous leaks.

Moving on, the promo poster also expresses a statement that communicates that after the persistent efforts of the teams on both sides. The company has finally achieved a feat with Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which will let the users enjoy such a wonderful experience.

It’s an extraordinary historical work jointly developed by Leica and Xiaomi. The strategic cooperation between Leica and Xiaomi Global Imaging has taken another vital step and we have together brought a further upgrade of the mobile imaging optical system solution level, and the most perfect Summicron in the field of moving images to date.

The Chinese tech maker further says that different mobile phone lenses from wide-angle to telephoto achieve consistently excellent optics. We believe that the perfect lens should have a large aperture, compact size, and high imaging performance throughout the entire focal length.

In addition to this, there was one more statement that we have caught is that “it will soon be available worldwide”. However, this confirms that the device will also be debuted in the global market. Thus, now we can expect to get more information in the coming days.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra Camera

The phone is expected to feature a Leica branding quad camera module at the back, including a 50MP main camera, which could be a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and two 50MP telephoto lenses, and a 32MP camera on the front for selfies and Video chat.

Moving on, the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with 12GB, 16GB RAM, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage variants. And run the latest Android 13 -based MIUI 14 software and is expected to be equipped with a 4900mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
