OnePlus 12 has started occupying the space in the headlines for its ultimate features, and a prominent camera upgrade. As per the latest inputs, the company is currently testing a periscope lens that might take place in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-equipped OnePlus 12 smartphone.
Recently, a famous Weibo tipster @DigitalChatStation revealed some good news for OnePlus fans. According to the details, the Chinese OEM is busy with some periscope arrangements. Ahead, the tipster said that these optical components are being tested on the SM8650 product line.
Perhaps, this means that the next flagship from the brand, most probably OnePlus 12, will bring a major upgrade in the camera setup. Moreover, we may find some huge enhancements for the other lenses in the frame as well.
It is worth mentioning that the telephoto lens in OnePlus devices doesn’t play a huge role in hyping the photography experience. Even the latest top-end model – OnePlus 11 only has the ability of 2X zoom, while other handsets in the market can zoom up to 5x level.

Although, a periscope addition in OnePlus 12 will not only boost the camera experience but will also offer a slim-trim design to the smartphone. Besides, it would be great if the manufacturer implements a lens just like the OPPO Find X6 Pro.
