OnePlus has launched its three new smartphones last month, OnePlus 8T, Nord N10, and Nord N100. OnePlus 8T is its latest flagship that comes pre-installed with OxygenOS 11 and exciting new features.
Following the launch of these devices, we have started getting a bunch of news and leaks about its next year’s smartphones. One of them is the OnePlus 9 series which includes OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro.
Here’s what we know about the OnePlus 9.
Design:
Recently, we have come to know that the upcoming OnePlus 9 will have a larger display but a similar design to OnePlus 8T. The device will feature a flat OLED 6.55-inch display with a punch-hole front camera.
It is rumored to have a 144Hz refresh rate but the recent CAD render’s report confirms a 120Hz refresh rate. The report also reveals a curved back panel with a rectangular camera module. The camera module offers three rear cameras, two big camera lens and one with a small lens – could be a depth sensor.
Specification:
Well, we haven’t received any official detail about its specs but we guess it will run the latest Android 11 based OxygenOS 11. While the old reports reveal that it will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset which is itself launching in December this year.
Besides, the OnePlus 9 could come with 65W wired fast charging and 30W wireless fast charging. At the same time, it will sport an IP68 rating, in-screen fingerprint sensors, and 8GB or 12GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.

OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro:
It is not the first time when OnePlus is bringing a Pro model for its device, the company always provides a few more features to its Pro variant. We can expect QHD+ resolution and some camera upgrades from the OnePlus 9 Pro.
Price:
No official price has revealed yet but as per the consistent price pattern of the company, the OnePlus 9 could come around Rs. 44,999 (approx $603) and OnePlus 9 Pro could come around Rs. 58,999 (approx $790).
Release Date:
The company hasn’t announced any launch date for the devices while they are rumored to be launch in mid-March 2021.
For now, we have very little information about the phones, let’s wait for some more details, new news, or leaks that could be revealed in the coming future.
