As usual, OnePlus is planning for this year’s flagships that will be announced around March. As we are moving towards the launch there are a number of leaks and rumors surfacing related to these handsets.
The OnePlus 9 series will have three models that are OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, and OnePlus 9 Lite. It is the question regarding the OnePlus 9 series smartphones if they will come with a periscope lens or not. According to the latest report from a tipster, which claims that the upcoming OnePlus 9 will not be featuring the periscope lens.
For those unaware, the periscope lens comes with a long zoom range and is used to capture close shots of objects from a distance. They provide users with clear shots even in a long-distances, unlike the telephoto lens. The periscope lens is now adopted by a number of OEMs in their flagship devices.

The other camera details of the OnePlus 9 series are not known but the leaks at least the leak suggest that it will not feature the periscope lens. Now talking about the other leaked info of the OnePlus 9, the two high-end variants including the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 888 SoC while the lite version OnePlus 9 Lite will equip Snapdragon 870 SoC.

As its the flagship series, it will come with all the high-end features such as a Fluid AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and QHD+ resolution. The Pro model will come with a curved edge display while the other two will have flat panels.
The OnePlus 9 series is expected to get unveiled in March this year and along with this, the company could also announce its first-ever smartwatch. As we move forward towards this year we will receive more updates on these smartphones and the smartwatch as well, so stay tuned.
