OnePlus OxygenOS 12 continue to trigger system issue for users

OnePlus 9 RT is coming this year in October, according to the latest report from Android Central. This will be a replacement for the OnePlus 9R, which was released in India early this year. The phone is said to be exclusive in the Indian and Chinese markets, similar to the OnePlus 9R.

Recently, we have heard that there won’t be a OnePlus 9T this year. So in that case, the new OnePlus 9 RT will fill the gap in absence of the OnePlus 9T, the device will come with modest upgrades over the OnePlus 9R, reported AC.

OnePlus 9 RT will come with a 6.55-inch 120Hz AMOLED display panel, a higher-binned version of the Snapdragon 870, and a 4500mAh battery with 65W charging. This phone will be the first OnePlus device with Android 12 out of the box.

There will be camera-focused upgrades, they are 50MP Sony IMX766 camera sensors like the OnePlus 9 series and the Nord 2.

It looks like “the entire software team is to fix the lingering issues in OxygenOS 12 so that an OTA build can be delivered to closed beta testers.”

It seems like the OxygenOS 12 would be built on top of Oppo’s version of Android 12 as a modified version of ColorOS. According to the report, the first Android 12 Open Beta from OnePlus will arrive “in just over a month.”

It means the release will be in the last week of September or the first half of October. OnePlus just started recruiting for the closed beta for the OnePlus 9 series.
