Oppo confirms Reno 5 Pro 5G launch in India, scheduled for January 18
Oppo Reno 5 series is already launched in China. The lineup comprises three smartphones named Oppo Reno 5, Reno 5 Pro, and Reno 5 Pro+. Recently the company also gave hint that it will soon launch the Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G smartphone in India.
According to the latest information, Oppo India has now confirmed on its official Twitter handle that the company will launch the Reno 5 Pro 5G smartphone on January 18 at 12:30 pm IST.
The Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G sports a 6.55-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 along with a 90Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by MediaTek’s Dismensity 1000+ processor with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage option.

In terms of software, Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G comes with a pre-installed Android 11 based ColorOS operating system. Coming to the camera specifications, it equips a quad rear camera with a 64MP main camera, and for selfies and there is a 32MP shooter at the front with a punch-hole design.
The device features a 4350 mAh battery life with support for 65W fast charging. The other features of the smartphone include dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C charging port.
Talking about the price, the Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G is priced at 3399 yuan which is approximately 38,300 INR for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. While the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at 3799 yuan. Although the pricing for the Indian variant is not confirmed.
