Oppo extends its product service warranty in India
As India struggles with the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, Oppo has expanded its product service warranty coverage to encourage its users to stay at home and take preventive lock-in measures.
The Chinese technology giant just announced that it will extend the repair warranty period for all its products to June 30, 2021. This only applies to products whose warranty expires during this lock-up period. It is worth noting that with the recent surge in COVID-19 cases in the country, the brand’s moves have also followed.
In addition, this also complies with the instructions of the local government. During the crisis, the company’s service center will remain closed until lockdown measures are implemented in different regions of India. Furthermore, the company also provided its Indian customers (+91-9871502777) with a WhatsApp number to check the status of operations in real-time.

The warranty will cover a variety of products, such as smartphones and accessories, such as chargers, data cables, and earphones. Oppo even set up an after-sales customer service in the region, which is supported by an AI chatbot named “Ollie”, which the customer can use 24X7.
The company claims that the robot can resolve 94.5% of its customer queries. In order to further support the local government, the smartphone manufacturer recently even donated 300 Oppo Band Style to Hyderabad Police Department employees, as well as 1,000 oxygen machines and 500 ventilators.
