Several OEMs like Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, and more already released their folding smartphone in the market. Now, Oppo is planning to unveil its first folding smartphone in the market.

According to the latest info, Oppo will launch this new folding screen code-named “Peacock” in the mid of December. As shown in the poster, it will bring a new concept of “Peacock Soaring”, which means the folding screen look like a screen and the peacock is on the same screen.
Some previous reports suggest that Oppo plans to launch a set of new smartphones at the end of this year. You can check some of them are as follows:
- OPPO Reno 7 Series
- New flagship with code “Peacock”(Snapdragon 888)
- New flagship with code “Butterfly”(Snapdragon 898)
Apart from these 3 devices, the company may also launch two new flagship smartphones that are OPPO’s first folding screen smartphone and the Find X4 series.
In December this year, Qualcomm is expected to launch a new generation of the sm8450 (Snapdragon 898) using Samsung’s 4nm process and the sm8475 (temporarily named Snapdragon 898Plus). Major manufacturers are also gearing up to launch their next-generation flagship phones.
