Oppo Reno5 K key details surfaced, launch set for tomorrow

Recently we have received a leak regarding Oppo’s upcoming Reno5 K smartphone which is expected to unveil in China. Now the latest news suggests that this handset is set for the launch tomorrow.

This will be the new version of the Oppo Reno5 5G handset that was released in September 2020, though it will have some changes in terms of internals and design. This smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 750G processor compared to the Snapdragon 765G of the Reno5 5G.

The company has released the official confirmation which says that the phone maker will lift the veil of Reno5 K tomorrow in China. As per the released poster, the phone will come in two different color editions including Green and Stary Dream. Appearance-wise, it looks similar to the Reno5 5G.

The previous leaks and rumors of the Reno5 K suggest that it will come with a 6.43-inch display along with the punch-hole AMOLED display. For security, there will be a fingerprint scanner under the display.

In terms of software, it will run on the latest Android 11 operating system. The device will pack a 4300mAh battery and is said to support 65W fast charging. Coming to the camera configuration, it will equip a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP main lens, while an 8MP and 2MP camera. The selfie camera in the front is 32MP.

Oppo Reno5 K will be available in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants along with 128GB and 256GB storage options respectively. The starting price of the Oppo Reno5 5G was 417 USD, while as it equips a downgraded SoC, we expect some price cut.
