POCO F3 gets FCC certification, could launch as Redmi K40’s global edition

As per the reports, Redmi K40 will be launched globally as a 5G smartphone of POCO. A new POCO smartphone with model number M2012K11AG (global Redmi K40 variant) appeared on Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) databases.

The latest information suggests that the global edition of the Redmi K40 will launch as a POCO F3. This device also certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S.
The FCC listing reveals that the device support 5G, dual SIM, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, MIUI 12, and NFC. However, there’s no more information given in the FCC listing, but we can expect that the device may be launched this month or in the next month.
Redmi K40 Specification:
The Redmi K40 features a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen that produces a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by Snapdragon 870 with up to12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 4, 520mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
It equips a triple rear camera including a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel superwide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro shooter in a rectangular shape module. For selfie lovers, there’s a 20-megapixel front camera. You can check the full specification here.
