For better 5G connectivity, the chipset features X51 5G modem that brings support for sub-6GHz and mmWave networks. With the support for the latest Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, users can have access to the widespread robust connection where ever they need.
Along with the Kyro 460 CPU and Andreno 619 GPU, this new processor will provide more than 100% percent performance improvements over the previous generation.
Talking about the camera features, the chipset supports Qualcomm spectra 345 image signal processor (ISP) that is designed for multi-camera support and power saving. Single-camera up to 64MP can be used with HEIF and HEIC photo capture. Also, this SoC can provide you with a slow-motion video of up to 720p @ 120fps.
This will be the first chipset in the 4-series to get support for 120fps FHD+ display with 120Hz display refresh rate. It remains to be seen, which companies will be using this new processor and at what cost we will have access to it. Also, we will get more insights regarding the chipset once it is used in smartphones.
