Realme has officially begun testing the launch of its foldable and under-display selfie camera smartphones. Recently, a design sketch of the Realme GT 2 Fold mobile phone has surfaced online, which shows the design and specification of this upcoming device.
As per the leaked sketch, the internal screen of this phone is an 8-inch AMOLED screen, which is expected to support high-swipe, and there is a front camera opening in the top right corner.
The phone uses the same left-right folding method as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series with a 6.5-inch AMOLED external screen, which has a proactive opening.
The rear camera module of the phone will feature two 50-megapixel cameras, one which is expected to be a wide-angle lens and an ultra-wide-angle lens, and the other is expected to be the opening flash or sensor.
The phone is expected to make use of fingerprint recognition on the side, with a Type-C interface and speaker openings at the bottom. In the lower-left corner of this image, the designer’s name is marked, and there is also the realme Design Studio trademark. However, at the moment it is impossible to confirm the authenticity of this sketch.
Previous reports suggest that Oppo is also developing foldable screen mobile phones. A few days ago, it was reported that the internally codenamed “Peacock” folding screen phone of Oppo is expected to arrive next month. It is expected to be equipped with Snapdragon 888 chip.
