Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro bag TENAA certificate, launching on February 25
Recently, the General Manager of Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi, Lu Weibing announced that the upcoming flagship Redmi K40 is set to launch on February 25, 2021. On the same day, RedmiBook Pro will also be launched.
Now, two new Xiaomi smartphones have received Telecommunication Equipment’s Network Access Managements (TENAA) certificate in China. These smartphones include models M2012K11AC and M2012K11C, which are identified as Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro respectively.

As per the TENAA listing, the Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 looks similar in term of design. Both phones will feature a small center-aligned punch-hole display, and a rectangular rear camera module with curved corners, reminding us of the Mi 11. The camera system has two large camera sensors and two small sensors on both devices.
Regarding the specifications, only a few details mentioned, such as 5G support (SA and NSA) and dual SIM card support. Hopefully, the full specification of these devices may release soon.
Previously, we’ve reported that the Redmi K40 will provide powerful performance, a flat-screen, and good battery life.
In terms of specifications, the Redmi K40 may feature an OLED panel with a perforated design. It is said that it will be equipped with a 64-megapixel main camera and can support 5x zoom.
Apart from this, the device can also be powered by a Snapdragon 888 or 870 processor. The upcoming Redmi K40 can be equipped with dual stereo speakers and a long-lasting battery of around 4500mAh.
