Today, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is going to unveil its high-end smartphones, Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro at 19:30 local time (5:00 PM IST) in China. Along with this lineup, the company will also unveil RedmiBook Pro and Redmi MAX smart TV.

Redmi K40 is not only a true flagship but also a “game flagship” and it will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 processor. RedmiBook Pro will also adopt new technology and equipped with a full-size keyboard that supports backlighting.
However, there’s no information about the specs of the Redmi MAX smart TV but it is expected to come with a screen size of approx. 70-90 inches. Below you can check the expected specification of these upcoming Redmi brand products.
Redmi K40 and K40 Pro
As per the previous information, the upcoming Redmi K40 Series will launch different versions equipped with Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 888 chips. It is officially confirmed to feature a 6.67 inch E4 OLED Display having a punch-hole design.
The basic version of the Redmi K40 can be equipped with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space, while the Redmi K40 Pro can provide 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage space.
The Pro can also pack a 5000 mAh battery and supports fast charging, while the Redmi K40 can offer a 4,500 mAh battery. Both phones can run on Android 11 based on MIUI 12 or MIUI 12.5.
Redmi K40 Pro is expected to equipped with a quad-camera setup of 108 MP main camera + 8 MP + 5 MP + 2 MP, and for selfie lovers, there may be a 30 MP camera.
RedmiBook Pro
RedmiBook Pro will adopt new technology and equipped with a full-size keyboard that supports backlighting. It will use the high-performance mobile version of Intel’s 11th-generation Core processor H35 processor with a 2K screen.
In addition, it will be equipped with NVMe solid-state hard drives and Type-C interfaces. It will support PD protocol charging, fingerprint unlocking, keyboard backlighting, and more.
