Redmi Note 11 series to come with new design, Snapdragon chip globally

On October 28, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi officially launched the Redmi Note 11, Note 11 Pro, and Note 11 Pro+ smartphones in China. Now the company is planning to introduce these phones in global, Indian, and other markets.

Going by a piece of new information (via ThePIxel.vn), the Redmi Note 11 series will have a completely new design globally. The media also reports that the phones will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors.

If you don’t know the Note 11 is features the Dimensity 810 chip, whereas the Note 11 Pro and Pro+ are equipped with the Dimensity 920 SoC in China. However, the publication also reports that the Snapdragon variants will also be debuting in China.

Redmi Note 11 Global Release Date:

At the moment, the actual date of the Redmi Note 11 global has been confirmed. Some reports claim that it will be introduced in the first quarter of 2022.

Why is Xiaomi changing Processors?

Well, it is unclear why Xiaomi has decided to change the processors of the Redmi Note 11 series in global markets. A YouTube tipster informed that this could be due to the short amount of Dimensity chipsets stocked in Xiaomi’s facility.

The leakster previously speculated that the Redmi Note 11 series global could be powered by the recently unveiled Snapdragon 778G Plus and Snapdragon 695.
