Render leak exposes unique camera design of upcoming Redmi K40 with Snapdragon 888

For a long time, some real images of the Redmi K40 series surfaced on the internet. The Redmi K40 series will have at least two models, the Redmi K40 and the Redmi K40 Pro. Xiaomi Redmi K40 is completing different certifications to get its launch in the coming days.

As per the latest information, Redmi will be one of the first companies to launch a Snapdragon 888 SoC-based smartphone. Today, the first high-end Redmi K40 Pro smartphone render appeared on Chinese social networks.

The latest Redmi K40 Pro render image shows the back of the phone is alike to Redmi K30S. It has a big-eyed rectangular quad-camera section at the top left corner. And, the right side of the camera module has a laser focus and flash.

According to the earlier report, the Redmi K40 could come with a flat LCD screen, a 4500 mAh battery, fast charging, and support for stereo speakers. It may also pack with Android 11.

The image of Redmi K40 shows that the back of the smartphone has also adopted a new design. It has four cameras like the previous generation, but the layout of the cameras is different.

The camera module is rectangle-shaped with curved corners including  It has a large sensor at the top, two smaller ones below it, and another larger one at the bottom. The camera sensor uses a quadrilateral shape.

As per the previous leak, the device features a centered pill-type punch-hole display and a redesigned back camera module. The Redmi K40 may also come with an audio jack at the bottom and the USB-C port on the left while a speaker grill on the right.
