Samsung may be working on a new 150MP camera sensor for the flagship smartphones. According to the rumor, it will be a 1-inch sensor with the Nonacell technology, found in Galaxy S20 Ultra‘s 108MP sensor.
Further, it suggests that the Chinese company, Xiaomi, will be the first company to use the 150MP sensor in its flagship smartphones in Q4 2020, could be Mi Mix 4. In addition, Oppo and Vivo will also use the 150MP sensor in their flagship smartphones in the Q1 2021 with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset.
Here’s the list of eligible devices that will get the One UI 3.0/Android 11
The Korean company could also use the same camera sensor in one of its future flagship smartphones, Galaxy Note 20 or next Galaxy S series. Just for the information, if there is a 150MP sensor, the final shots should have a pixel count of around 16MP.
Samsung announced its 108MP (12032×9024 pixel resolution) ISOCELL Bright HMX 0.8μm pixel image sensor in August last year.
