Samsung could launch Galaxy M53 with 108MP camera sensor

Recently, Samsung unveiled the three new Galaxy A series smartphones namely Galaxy A33, A53, and A73. Among these, the Galaxy A73 is the first mid-range Samsung phone to feature 108MP primary camera. Now it looks like the company is preparing another mid-range phone with a 108MP camera.

Earlier this month, the Geekbech database unveiled various key features of the upcoming smartphone-Galaxy M53. Now a couple of new leaks gives us a clearer view of what Samsung’s next mid-range phone could feature.

A famous tipster Anthony revealed that Galaxy M53 will take a huge jump in megapixel counts as compared to its predecessor and will feature a 108MP primary camera. In addition, it will have a quad-camera setup but with a downgrade in ultra-wide and macro cameras resolution.

Additionally, another tipster Yogesh Brar claims that the Galaxy M53 will feature a 6.7 inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. It will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G processor and will run on Android 12-based One UI 4.1 OS.

He further says that aside from a 108MP primary camera, it features an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. Whereas, on the front, it has a 32MP selfie shooter.

Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G sports a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. However, you will have to purchase the charger as it’s not packed in the box. Lastly, the tipster also reveals that the phone comes in two storage variants – 8GB RAM + 128GB/256GB of internal storage.
