Samsung is reportedly planning to discontinue the base model of its upcoming Galaxy Tab S10 series. In 2024, the Korean tech giant seems to be focusing on the production of the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Tab S10 Ultra variants.
According to the information of Korean Media, Samsung will begin full-scale production of Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra devices, starting this month. Hence, there might be no standard Galaxy Tab S10 model.
Also, the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra variants are expected to feature large 12.4 and 14.6-inch displays respectively, with a release expected as early as the second half of this year.

Notably, the decision to discontinue the base model of the Galaxy Tab S10 series may also be seen as a response to Apple’s recent launch of the iPad Pro with an OLED display.
Furthermore, the Plus and Ultra variants of the Galaxy Tab S10 series are expected to offer more premium features and specifications. Overall, these tablets could cater to consumers looking for a high-end tablet experience.
Some previous reports also hinted that, Samsung has started the software development for Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra with One UI versions X828USQUAXF5 and X926BXXUOAXE6 respectively.
Also, the Plus variant of the Galaxy Tab S10 series was spotted on Geekbench, flaunting the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chip. Thus, the devices might boast a MediaTek processor besides Snapdragon in some markets.
