Samsung has recently launched the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 in the Indian market which comes with several premium-grade features including an IP67 rating, high refresh rate display, and more. Even with this bunch of high-end functionalities, these phones lack 5G connectivity.
Further, the company is now planning to launch some more smartphones in its mid-range segment and these will be introduced in the Galaxy A and Galaxy M series. The Galaxy A42 5G and M42 5G could be coming soon in India as these phones have received the BIS certification.
The Galaxy A42 5G and M42 5G have been listed on the BIS certificate with the model numbers SM-A426B and SM-M426B respectively. It is worth mentioning that these handsets were already unveiled in the select market last year and recently in South Korea as well.

It is expected that the Galaxy M42 5G may come as a rebadged version of the Galaxy A42 5G. While nothing could be said until something official comes and we’ll keep you updated as soon as we receive something new on this.
Samsung Galaxy A42 Specifications
The Galaxy A42 5G sports a 6.6-inch Infinity-U display that delivers a more immersive gaming and video streaming experience. The device is powered by Snapdragon 750G/MediaTek Helio P65 octa-core processor.
The Galaxy A42 5G equipped with a quad-camera setup which consists of a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 5-megapixel depth lens, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, it has a 20-megapixel camera for selfies.
Aside from this, this device packs a 5,000mAh large-capacity battery and can be recharged with a 15W fast charger. In South Korea, it is available in three unique color options including Prism Dot Black, Prism Dot White, and Prism Dot Gray.
