Samsung Galaxy A82 5G to be powered by Snapdragon 855 SoC, reveals benchmark
Samsung has recently unveiled some new phones under the A-series and it seems that there are more to come. Just recently, the company announced Galaxy A32 in India, and further, the leaks are coming for the Galaxy A22 that might also be launched in the coming days.
Alongside the budget segment, the company is also planning for some midrange devices with high-end capabilities. A new smartphone has been spotted on Geekbench which is ought to be the Galaxy A82 5G that could be coming soon from the South Korean tech giant.
While the name of this smartphone is still under question, it appeared with a two-year-old flagship chipset which is the Snapdragon 855. We can’t raise any questions on the capabilities of this SoC as it’s the flagship processor that supports 5G connectivity.

Although, it can’t be compared with the latest chips that are currently coming with the premium smartphone. But, if it comes with a decent price then still that might prove value for money. This same processor is also powering the Galaxy A90 5G.
The processor on the device is paired with the latest Android 11 operating system which is paired with 6GB of RAM. If it’s the Android 11 then the expectations are that the phone will come with the latest version of One UI that is the One UI 3.1.
