Samsung Galaxy M42 could be the first 5G phone of M-series

Samsung’s M series offers smartphones from budget and mid-range segments and this lineup has proved to be successful in the Indian market due to their feature offerings at such a decent price range. Mostly, the phones in the M-series are battery-centric and offer a long-lasting battery, while the other specs are also considerable.

Moving on, Samsung is now planning to take its M-series into the future by introducing the 5G connectivity. The company could launch its first Galaxy M phone with 5G support. This is known by the recently surfaced WiFi Alliance certificate of a newly spotted handset.

The smartphones with model number SM-M426B which is said to be the Galaxy M42 have now received the Wi-Fi alliance certificate which reveals that it is currently under work with the company.

The smartphone could come as the rebranded version of the Galaxy A42 5G which is already launched. This means that we can expect the features of the Galaxy M42 to be somewhat similar to the Galaxy A42 5G.

The Galaxy, A42 5G comes with a 6.6-inch AMOLED display, a 5000mAh battery with 15W charging support. While most of the Galaxy M phones come with a 6000 or 7000mAh battery along with a 25W fast charge and a Full HD+ display.
