The 3C certification of the Galaxy Note 20+ reveals support for 5G and 25W fast charging. The Galaxy Note 20+ with model number SM-N9860 has passed the 3C (China Compulsory Certificate) certification process. According to the certificate, it confirmes the 5G network support and 25W (9V/2.77A PD or 11V/2.25A PPS) wired fast charging.

May 25, 2020: 4500mAh battery for the Galaxy Note 20+

If you are expecting a bigger or similar battery like the Galaxy S20 Ultra (5,000mAh) on the upcoming Galaxy Note 20+, you will be disappointed.

According to the 3C certification in China, the Galaxy Note 20+ certified with the 4,370mAh battery capacity, it means the Galaxy Note 20+ to come with a 4,500mAh battery. Just like the Galaxy Note 10+, which has 4,300mAh battery, it was certified with a 4,170mAh battery.

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 20+ may come with a larger battery than the Galaxy Note 10+, just 200mAh more. The Galaxy Note 10+ packs with a 4,300mAh battery, the Galaxy Note 20+ is tipped to feature a 4,500mAh battery, according to Galaxy Club.

But the battery of the Galaxy Note 20+ is a smaller battery than the Galaxy S20 Ultra, which has a 5,000mAh battery. However, the battery life of the Galaxy Note 20+ may still be slightly better than the Galaxy S20 Ultra, thanks to its 120Hz (rumored) LTPO refresh rate display.

Rumor: The Galaxy Note 20 is expected to come with a 4,000mAh battery

Samsung is working on its next Galaxy Note, probably called the Galaxy Note 20. We are still a few months away from the official debut of Samsung’s next Galaxy Note device, but details have started coming out.

According to a new report from GalaxyClub, Samsung is planning to add a 4,000mAh battery in its upcoming Galaxy Note 20, the same as the Galaxy S20, launched this year.

The 4000mAh battery is for the standard Galaxy Note 20 variant, the successor of the Galaxy Note 10. Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 10 with a 3500mAh battery. The company could add 5000mAh battery to the Galaxy Note 20+ or Note 20 Ultra, as it already used the same battery size in the Galaxy S20 Ultra.

According to a recent report, Samsung has started to prepare for the launch event for its Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Fold 2, which is planned for August 2020.
