A new rumor suggests the Galaxy Note 20 series will only have two models, will not launch the Note 20 Ultra

This year, Samsung launched the most expensive Galaxy S20 Ultra with a 108MP primary camera. But there won’t be a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, says the new rumor. Just like the Galaxy Note 10 series, Samsung may launch only two flagship Note models in 2020.

Ross Young, CEO and founder of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), suggests the Galaxy Note 20 series will only have two models – Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Plus.

Unlike the Galaxy S20 series, Samsung will apparently not launch a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. There will only be a standard Galaxy Note 20 and a ‘+’ model with a larger screen.

Young also claims the Galaxy Note 20+ will have a 6.87-inch display with 3096 x 1444 resolution and a 19.3:9 aspect ratio. It will be a “lower power implementation” of 120Hz, it should extend battery life using the 120Hz refresh rate.

While the standard Galaxy Note 20 will have a 6.42-inch display with 2345×1024 resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It will also be a “lower power implementation” of 120Hz.

In an additional tweet, Young shared that Samsung is going to add LTPO technology to the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Fold 2. He says the LTPO technology won’t be available on the upcoming Apple iPhone.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Note 20 series in August 2020.
