Samsung’s community forum has stated that some Galaxy S21 FE owners facing issues such as lagging and stuttering due to automatically reducing the display refresh rate to 60Hz from 120Hz.
This display-related issue leads the entire user interface animation laggy, however, the issue is not related to software. Since the Galaxy S21 FE doesn’t have a variable refresh rate display, the only available settings are 60Hz or 120Hz.
To be mentioned, the display refresh rate issue is only occurring on the Exynos 2100-powered Galaxy S21 FE units. And Samsung needs to fix the bug as soon as possible with future firmware updates.
