Samsung Galaxy S21 passed FCC certification: supports 25W wired charging, 9W reverse wireless charging, and confirms Snapdragon 888

Samsung will launch a new flagship Galaxy S21 series next month, rumored to launch on January 14, 2021. Moving to the launch event, the Galaxy S21 model received the latest certification from the FCC, and the Galaxy S21 with model number SM-G991U has appeared on the FCC.

So far, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S21 has appeared in a new FCC listing. In addition, the listing confirms the Galaxy S21 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset in the US. There is also mention of 9W reverse wireless charging support.

FCC certification information also shows that Galaxy S21 supports 25W wired charging and 9W reverse wireless charging, which is twice the rate of Galaxy S20.

The FCC certification information also mentions the EP-TA800 charger, but we are not sure if the phone will come with a charger.

Not long ago, the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra passed the Brazilian ANATEL certification. The certification documents show that all three variants of the Galaxy S21 will not include a charger.
