These days, smartphone makers are collaborating with a renowned camera and lens manufacturers to improve the performance of mobile phone photography. For example, OnePlus has partnered with Hasselblad to develop its OnePlus 9 series of cameras, and there are even reports that Samsung has also started collaborating with camera manufacturer Olympus.
Following the spreading news of the collaboration between Samsung and Olympus, renowned graphic designer Technizo Concept (via LetsGoDigital) produced a series of product renderings of the “Galaxy S22 Ultra”, which could launch in the first quarter of the year 2022 with 200 megapixel Olympus camera and an S Pen support.
Olympus is a well-known manufacturer of mirrorless cameras and lenses. However, due to intense competition from smartphones, the camera business has been in decline for several years. In addition, the Japanese camera maker announced that it would collaborate with other companies that are not in the camera or lens industry.
There is no doubt that Samsung has been the leading smartphone brand for many years. The company released the Galaxy S21 series earlier this year, which saw a huge response from consumers. Meanwhile, the company’s competition with Chinese OEMs is also increasing, so Samsung will have to continue to innovate to maintain its leading position.
