Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro 2 with Snapdragon 778G chip spotted on Geekbench

Samsung is the manufacturer that takes care of every kind of customer and makes different phones for different markets and it has rugged smartphones too. Earlier, it is reported that the South Korean tech giant plans to launch the new Galaxy Xcover phone this year. It’s the Galaxy XCover Pro 2 with 5G connectivity.

According to the latest information, the Samsung smartphone with model number SM-G736B is found in the Geekbench database. It can be launched as Galaxy Xcover Pro 2. It is expected that the device to come with Android 12 with the latest One UI 4.1 version.

Unexpectedly, with Snapdragon 778G processor, which is also used in the Galaxy A52s 5G and Galaxy A73. This powerful processor offers excellent gaming performance. Furthermore, it uses the energy-efficient 6nm manufacturing process from TSMC, which turns it into a powerful yet efficient chipset.

Moreover, the Galaxy Xcover Pro 2 could be a new variant of the upcoming Galaxy A series and the smartphone can be equipped with a Super AMOLED display, downgraded camera setup IP68 rating, MIL-STD-rated design, 4,000mAh battery, and some extra physical buttons.

Yet, not all specs are available for this new Xcover phone, but we can expect the specs to be in the mid-range for the 2022 standards. The display is likely to be 1080p+ and may have a slight increase in RAM to keep up with the new operating system.

However, more details about this new Galaxy Xcover Pro should be revealed as the official release is approaching. Information that this phone will be released in the summer.
