By starting mass production of future foldable devices, Samsung is expected to launch it in the next two to three months. However, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be a high-priced phone, and the company clearly plans to use a relatively limited number.
Recently, South Korean media reported that Samsung has set a shipment target of 6 to 7 million new foldable phones for its upcoming foldable phones. The report also revealed that the company expects to sell 2.5 to 3 million Galaxy Z Fold 3 and 3.5 to 4 million Galaxy Z Flip 3.
Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 will exclusively carry the latest One UI 3.5 version on top of Android 11. Earlier, Samsung insiders revealed that the upcoming folding screen will use a new adaptive UI, the name of the UI may be “Split” UI, which fundamentally adjusts the application according to the screen size and orientation.
However, there is no real information about the specifications or design of Samsung’s next-generation foldable phone, but there are reports that it will be equipped with an under-display selfie camera, S Pen, IP rating, 120Hz LTPO screen, Snapdragon 888 SoC, etc.
