Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra battery appears on BIS certification. This spotting confirms the device’s existence and suggests that the firm is progressing towards the official launch of the Ultra foldable.
As per the details, a new smartphone battery has cleared the BIS certification with model numbers EB-BF959ABE and EB-BF959ABY. However, the listing didn’t disclose the device name but MySmartPrice believes it to be a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra.
FYI, the model number starts with BF usually denotes fold and flip phone battery. Therefore, Galaxy Z Fold battery model numbers start with BF9, While, the Galaxy Z Flip battery model numbers start with BF7.

This confirms that the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has recently certified a foldable phone battery. Moving on, the second 9 digit in the model number further ensures it is an Ultra model. As Galaxy Fold 6 carries batteries with model numbers EB-BF956ABY and EB-BF957ABY.
Aside from this, the platform didn’t reveal any further details. But, if this information comes out to be authentic, then users can see a more premium foldable phone alongside a regular Galaxy Z Fold 6 in July 2024.
