Samsung plans to produce 30 million units of Galaxy S24 series
Samsung Galaxy S24 series is going to be the successor of the current flagship lineup, the Galaxy S23 in various segments, taking this into consideration. Samsung plans to increase production of the Galaxy S24 series by 10% compared to its predecessor and is considering producing about 30 million units.
According to the information, the firm has officially confirmed three models of the upcoming lineup Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Among these, the production of the vanilla and Plus units amounted to 7.5 million units each and Ultra to 15 million.
Notably, the plan to produce half of the ultra model units from 30 million can be interpreted as an intention to maximize profitability by maintaining a high proportion of Ultra. Also, the next flagship lineup is expected to hit the market in the Q1 of 2024.
An industry official said
- Galaxy S24 volumes may fluctuate depending on market conditions, but it appears that we are currently planning to produce more than the previous model.”
