The Galaxy Note 9 was launched with the Android 8 OS, the time when Samsung used to provide only 2 major OS to even its flagship phones. With the launch of Galaxy Note 20, the company promised an additional year of a major update to the phones launched with Android 9 OS, thus, the Note 9 didn’t become eligible for it.
