Samsung SmartThings is getting a new software update with new feature

Samsung has released a new update for the SmartThings. The new SmartThings version is 1.7.51.42 available on Google Play Store.

Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Samsung’s latest flagship phone, which comes with a variety of cutting-edge technology, should be able to take advantage of several major efficiency improvements to SmartThings, including support for refined ultra-wideband radio transmission.

Changelog:

- SmartThings Find
- Automation Features: Weather and Linked Places
- Scan Multiple Zigbee 3.0 QR Codes for Easier Setup

SmartThings also introduces improvements in its update, which are more accessible. The newly designed Automation Configuration menu gives you more response. It got two new conditions in this updated SmartThings version. One of them is whether, when you connected to the internet, the app automatically shows Tears in Heaven if it rains. The Linked Places allows you to have a Bixby message home.

The SmartThings presently supports up to three Linked Places, though strangely enough, its functionality is limited by the number of Galaxy devices you have.

You can now check weather updates on the Location Summary screen, which refreshes every 20-minute. Even, it will need the enabled geofencing setting, this feature relies solely on existing cellular data your phone is already constantly exchanging with nearby towers instead of using GPS.
