Samsung teases upgraded ISOCELL 200MP camera with 4K zoom support for Galaxy S24 Ultra

Samsung has teased its upgraded ISOCELL 200MP image sensor for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which is said to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

The sensor’s features a new AI Remosaic image processing for faster captures and better quality. In addition, the ISOCELL Zoom Anyplace feature can capture videos zoomed in and its full frame in 4K quality.

new video published on the official Samsung YouTube channel explains the ISOCELL Zoom Anyplace camera tech. The video reveals some interesting details such as Zoom Anyplace works with a 200MP ISOCELL camera and is accelerated by the Qualcomm AI Engine.

As Qualcomm officially unveiled Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Samsung’s video flaunts the new chipset. The video content indicates significant camera performance and quality improvements in the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which will be released next year.

Samsung’s new Zoom Anyplace camera technology captures the full field of view and zoomed-in areas on video in 4K resolution at the same time. Users can select the desired subject in the camera’s frame, and the camera will automatically track it and keep it in focus.
